Who would a brand expert choose to design the visual identity of their brand consultancy? I knew I needed a particular combination of skills, experience and collaborative style. I’ve been fortunate to work with Simon before on projects for my clients, where he had proved his quality. But for my own brand I gave him an unusual brief, one that was deep in the meaning I wanted to convey, but light on any kind of stylistic direction (I knew I should leave that to the expert). The resulting logo design conveys all the strands of meaning I wanted. Yes it’s “just a logo”, but Simon has given me the ability to use it as a springboard to convey all the value of my services from a single initial point of attention. His work is the best investment I have made in my brand in a long time.
